Subject-verb agreement is the correspondence between verb (verb) with sentence subject in terms of number ( singular or plural ). The rules : 1. Subjects and verbs must agree in number. This is the cornerstone rule that forms the background of the concept. Example : a. The boy eats meat This sentence is singular because the boy is only 1, so the verb combine with s/ES. b. The boys eat meat This sentence is plural because the boy is more than 1, so the verb is’nt adding s/es. 2. Two singular subjects connected by or / nor /neither require a singular verb. Example : a. My Uncle or my aunt is visiting my house. b. Neither Daru nor Tiara does not want to play with me. *In the two sentences above even though there are two subjects, but do not include are and do. I’ll tell you about my experience that i get since i become assistant at LePKom a.k.a Lembaga Pengembangan Komputerisasi. My story will start when i take the selection test until now. Okay, now let’s start the story! On August 22nd 2017, i did the registration as candidate of assistant LePKom via LePKom website. After that, i filled my information on that account and completed the file that needed as a predetermined condition . Two days later, on August 24th 2017, i checked my inbox and that’s from selection committte of open recruitment assistant LePKom. I read the email and i was very happy because i passed the selection of file that i attached in my account registration. Because of that, i must attended the briefing that held on August 25th 2017. In the briefing, the committee will tell to the candidate about the selection test. The test is done for about 3 days, from August 2
